Friday 6th March - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – gloomy with rain
late.
With lots of Saharan dust in the air I headed out at 6.30 to see if the sun
would be red but it was too foggy, at least the wind was very light so some
good pics were on the cards! I stopped off at the Cliff top car park to
photo the kitersurfers puddle with a glimpse of hazy sun. Then onto
Felixstowe Ferry to get some more lovely boat reflections in the Deben, I
then spotted the sun coming up above Bawdsey which made some cool pics. I
stopped off at the Cliff Top again and walked out onto the shingle bank as
the tide was very low, I even went for a paddle to take some really lovely
pics of the beach hut reflections in the mirror flat lagoon, just
brilliant. I then had some luck on the BBC with two pics used online and
one on Look East:)
Being Friday Mag went to pick up Maeva who after being unwell recently it
was brilliant to see her back on form, she was nonstop and full of fun and
what fun we had, playing musical stepping stones with cushions while
listening to The Stylistics, we had biscuits and a cool rose out of kitchen
paper before I packed a picnic. We drove down to our windsurfing car park
at The Dip for our picnic in the van with a sea view and watch old people
walk past:) Maeva just loves having lunch in the van before we go for a
walk with Maeva on her little bike:) We play hide and seek around the beach
huts before heading out onto the beach to throw some stones in! We amble
back to the van, I even collect a little coal for a cuppa and one of the
yummy chocolate chip biscuits while watching Peppa Pig! Another top Friday,
great fun was had by all!
